Footwear

High-heels, Flip-Flops, Sandals, Evening Shoes, Stilettos... All of them can look amazing in the right environment, however, whilst handling big sharp axes; they aren't the best idea.

Our Instructors will advise you not to wear open-toed shoes due to the inherent risk if you were to drop a projectile. We don't want you to ruin your day and we don't want to ruin our floors with blood...

If you're adamant that you're going to proceed with the activity with your toes exposed, then you take full responsibility and will acknowledge this by signing our Waiver before your session.

However, if you bring a child (i.e. a person under 18 years of age) and they have exposed toes or are wearing "Crocs" (or other similar footwear), they will be prohibited from the throwing area; no exceptions and without refund.

Important Bit Regarding Alcohol & General Conduct

To ensure the enjoyment of yourself and others we have a few "ground rules" which you MUST adhere to.

Pre-Drinks

We too enjoy a nice cold lager or a sumptuous glass of wine, however  we must be responsible when handling sharps (i.e. our axes and throwing knives!).

Therefore, if you or one of your guests arrives to the venue and are intoxicated; you will NOT be permitted to throw.

You CAN continue drinking but you must only spectate.

All lanes are monitored continuously. If a member of a party decides to have "a cheeky throw" whilst intoxicated; the entire party will be asked to leave WITHOUT REFUND. If you decide to do it at the end of your session, you will be barred.

Drinking on Site

We do have a licenced bar but drinking is discouraged whilst axe throwing.

If any of our staff feel that a member of your party have become intoxicated, then that individual will not be permitted to continue throwing and NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

This is for the safety of our staff and guests.

If you wish to drink, you may spectate from the safety of the benches or stay for drinks after your axe throwing session in our bar area.

Zero Tolerance

Axes to Ashes want to ensure that every single one of our guests has an amazing time.

If any of our staff or other guests are verbally or physically abused, the Police will be immediately called, all CCTV recordings and witness statements will be forwarded onto the Police and we will push for the maximum punishment.

In addition, any perpetrators will be barred for life from any of our venues and mobile axe throwing services.

We pride ourselves on a safe and inclusive space.
